Think about the landed cost, not the sticker price

The price on the store page is only part of what you pay. Add freight, which we charge by weight or by size for bulky boxes, then Bahamian customs duty at the rate for that kind of item, then VAT. A $40 pair of shoes and a $40 box of ceramic tiles land at very different totals. The shipping calculator shows the whole figure before you commit, the pricing page lists every fee, and our duty rates guide covers the items people import most.

Consolidate to pay freight once

Ordering several things from different stores? Place the orders within a few days of each other and ask us to consolidate them at the warehouse. One larger box usually costs less to fly than three small ones, and there is one customs entry instead of three.

Keep the invoice handy

Customs duty is calculated from what you paid, so save the order confirmation or invoice for every purchase and upload it in your account when the package arrives. A clear invoice is the single best way to avoid delays at clearance.

Know what cannot fly

Some items are restricted by the airline or by customs: aerosols, lithium batteries on their own, perfumes in bulk, weapons and their parts, and anything flammable. If in doubt, ask us before you order rather than after. Our terms list the categories we cannot accept.
